I liked the music, the Earthbound soundtrack particularly represented Mays' fun and happy appearance, and what we are told his life was like. The problem is that when you click "Replay", the music stops completely instead of simply restarting. The simple alternative is to just refresh the page, or simply turn the display Flash button off and then on again.
The idea was nice, instead of a single frame "Billy Mays, born XXXX died 2009" tombstone, you went with a display on who Mays was better than, a unique idea (especially working in the Fulps and Michael Jackson, a decision that may have been a bit risky to your score in the eyes of some).
That said, despite being a slideshow, the animation was little-to-none. It was a decent amount under the time constraint of getting a tribute out today, but not enough to warrant a full ten stars.
All in all, it was a decent tribute, could use the improvement of an increase in time and effort, but the thought and heart was there. You get a thumbs up from me. :)

Thanks for the honest review. Yes, some people have already complained about using the Fulps, though, while I'm still a fan of the Fulps, they aren't as great as Billy Mays was. And I did throw this together pretty quickly, plus I haven't done much work in Flash in over a year, so I'm a bit rusty as well. Thanks.

The art of this game was visually appealing, and the jazzy music fit the scene well. Little Wheel even was able to give off an aura of a character, I imagine he is a tad clumsy, but always tries to do the right thing, and flash games don't always make it easy to create a character beyond a sprite.
The length was just right for what this game was intended as, a fast game. It took maybe between five and ten minutes, although I wasn't counting.
My problem with this game, however, is that I feel like I didn't get anything out of it. It was visually appealing, yes, but it was a stretch from what I'd consider fun, perhaps because just about everything was pointed out to the player. I was expecting from the artful style that Little Wheel was on a quest as part of a larger metaphor, but the ending revealed a simpler purpose, which was disappointing, although that may have meaning, as well. I can see that this was posted by a company instead of the actual authors, but improvements would include upping the challenge a bit, and perhaps giving Little Wheel a bigger mission next time. Simple isn't always bad, as brilliant animations like Jerry have shown us, but Little Wheel leaves some to be desired.

I miss the Shades Gang... Damn life keeping me busy with crap. D:
Nice flash, by the way. The animation style is great, and you two work great together. As you've said, you're getting back into Flash, which means it'll take a while before you're earning 10's and 5's, but this all in all a nice flash.

It was good as a time waster. The animation was entertaining, and it was better than a lot of the games that get uploaded to the Flash Portal. The only way to really improve it would be to make it longer and develop a concept... but how much of a concept can you develop from nutcrushing? Maybe an opponent to go up against. All in all, it's fun, but could be more developed for a better score.

I think the adventure mode was long awaited. A storyline has only improved the SHIFT series. When you developed the idea of SHIFT, it was so original and endearing that it became an instant classic. The gameplay is top notch, the graphics are wonderful, the concept is brilliant, the story is interesting... Rarely will one see a game more deserving of a ten out of ten. Inevitably deserving of the daily first award (and with a score of 4.43, definitely the winner). Congrats! By the way, I think Mel Gibson was a wonderful idea for a celeb character. He brings so much to the game since he has the epic shift power that lets him teleport across the room.

I agree, I think we should be able to change the colour of her skin, too. And this seems good so far. Though it'd be nicer if we could get some more time on that minigame. =] Otherwise, I really do like it. I understand this is only a sample, but I totally think you're going somewhere great with this. 7/10, which is unusually high for a beta game in teh first place. ^_^ Nice job, and enjoy working on this! =-D

It's a great game. The concept seems original, and the idea is fun. The only issues are the controls, which can be difficult at times. The Zingbob system is solid, though, and you continue to show that amazing skill in animation that'll get you far. Great job, Amy! Love the music too, by the way. And the art. ^_^

I like this. It's a fun tribute to the website you mentioned. A nice collection of "Owned" pics, and they work the same as the original website. The redub of the song is funny, in my opinion. And I like when you type in your name, how the Flash reads the letters aloud.
The way I recomend improving this...? Hmm... you can't really make a flash in this style and get a super portal award. But you could get a higher rating if you did more than loop the song, if you listen to the website carefully, the song changes tune a bit each time.
I voted 4/5 and I hope you continue to put effort behind all of your flashes.

For your first flash, it was really great. I loved it, humor was there. The only thing I would have added was sound. But you put a lot of work into this, and it's probably one of the best firsts I've ever seen. Definitely better than some of the spammy style stuff that experienced falshers create. Keep up the good work, and keep a positive mental attitude. You've got real potential.

It's true. The Kitty Krew sees everything as an oppurtunity to spam. Unfortunately, most Newgrounders give you guys a negative response. Of course, maybe that's what you truly crave. As for the Flash, it had music, it was honest, it could haveused a bit more animation... but it was enough for three stars.
